The team
Introduction
We are the TeamZero team, competing in the 24/25 CanSat Competition. We entered because we all have an interest in electronics as well as programming.
Our mentors, Éva Janó and Róbert Bálint, help with calculations and supervise our work.
Team members
Roles
Our roles only indicate what our main task is. We all do other tasks than our main roles while we assist each other.
Ambitions
Our goal is to create a device that helps scout an area for signs of habitability. In the future, when humanity outgrows Earth and ventures to other planets to colonise, settlers could launch this kind of device instead of manned expeditions, avoiding casualties.
Although the current device is a prototype due to the competition's limitations, it could easily be expanded upon for various purposes. It is also relatively cheap: if the production process were streamlined, manufacturing it in large quantities wouldn't be hugely expensive, so units could be sent to multiple parts of a planet. Because they're inexpensive, recovery would be financially unimportant, unlike in the competition today.
